We appreciate and respect the knowledge, talent, and vision that the architect brings to building design projects. We are conscientious in our role and effort as mechanical contractors to support that vision.
We inspect and review plans thoroughly and consult with the architect when the opportunities present themselves to add value without compromising the vision for the project.
We do our homework on the front-end so that change orders and cost revisions are avoided or minimized on the back-end. Our formal review process can reveal and address potential issues that can impact design and construction—from local code requirements to site construction challenges. We consult with the architect early and often to ensure we deliver the best recommendations.
We consult with the architect throughout the project.
As the relationship allows, we keep the architect informed directly or through the contractor throughout the course of our participation in the project. If unforeseen challenges arise in the course of a project, we consult and work collaboratively to find the proper solution.
We respond promptly to the architect's inquiries.
When questions and inquiries arise, we respond promptly. Our knowledgeable, skilled supervisors and managers are empowered, and often can answer questions immediately. If it’s a question they can’t answer, they will find the answer. Our formal communications and reporting systems ensures that an informed office and field staff are working cohesively on your project.
We will never compromise the trust of the architect by being critical of design.
It’s easy to shift responsibility when design challenges present difficult construction issues. We’re always respectful of the process and if the architect’s vision and the mechanical design constraints do not align, we work cooperatively to present viable solutions that best serve the interests of everyone involved.
