Details: The brownstone look exterior of Stonehouse Village integrates nicely into the feel urban planners are hoping to engender
in downtown East Lansing’s redevelopment. Cron Management went to great lengths to design the mid-rise, mixed-use project with very comfortable
living spaces. Upper floors feature eleven floor plans for 27 loft-style one- and two-bedroom residential units while street level space accommodates
commercial tenants. General contractor, Fryling Construction, Grand Rapids, selected Contractors Mechanical to construct plumbing and heating mechanicals
for the building including domestic and wastewater plumbing systems, gas piping, ventilation, and integrated hot water heating and furnace systems.
The integrated hot water and furnace technology uses the gas-fired water heater instead of a boiler as the energy generator coupled with a heat
exchanger coil to supply heat to the apartment through a warm air duct system.
