Contractors Mechanical Lands Gull Lake High School Project
Southwest Michigan—Contractors Mechanical has been selected as the mechanical contractor for construction of a new high school for Gull Lake Community Schools. Contractors Mechanical will construct nearly $5,000,000 in plumbing and heating systems, as part of a nearly $40,000,000 bond proposal district voters approved for development, site improvements, and facilities construction.
In addition to a new high school in Richland, plans for Gull Lake Community Schools, with an enrollment now over 3,000 students, include converting the existing high school in Richland to a middle school facility, and converting the existing middle school in Hickory Corners to an Administration Building with a corridor connection to Kellogg Elementary School.
Kingscott Associates, Kalamazoo, is the architectural design and engineering firm, and the construction manager is Miller Davis, also of Kalamazoo.
