Contractors Mechanical Wraps Up West Virginia Microtel Project
Southwest Michigan - Contractors Mechanical recently completed construction of domestic water and gas piping systems at the new 3-story,
80-unit Microtel Inn & Suites in Gassaway, West Virginia. Doug Vincent, President of Breakaway Construction, Sutton, West Virginia, along
with Rich Kolk of DelTreck, a Manistee, MI, independent consultant, selected Contractors Mechanical for the $280,000 piping systems contract.
The mountain top site, near the Gassaway exit along I-79 in West Virginia’s geographic center, is located in a relatively remote, mountainous
region. “With nearly a one-and-a-half-hour drive the nearest supply house, anticipating needs and precisely planning, scheduling, and coordinating
daily activities was essential here,” says Contractor Mechanical Field Manager, T.J. Collick. Collick co-managed the project with Contractor’s
Mechanical Field Manager’s Wes Allen and Mike Knoblock.
